The Wedding of Ankur and Erika

Congratulations to Ankur and Erika on their wedding this past week!

It's been an incredible journey knowing Ankur since his early days, accompanying his parents, Mr. Naveen Jain and Ms. Anu Jain, to Egypt. Fast forward to last year in New York, where Ankur, along with his girlfriend Erika, hosted a remarkable event in my honor, attended by esteemed guests like Mayor of NYC Eric Adams, Mark Lehner, Martha Stewart and others.

In Winter 2023, Ankur and Erika visited Egypt, and we explored iconic landmarks like the Sphinx and the Pyramids. Inspired by the beauty of Egypt, I extended an invitation for them to tie the knot in this majestic setting.

Ankur's grand gesture started with a safari trip to South Africa, treating over 70 guests to unforgettable wildlife experiences in which I joined them. Back in Egypt, the wedding festivities began with a lavish party at the Palace of Muhammad Ali, Second day I made a lecture for them at the Sphinx Then we had a spectacular dinner at the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The highlight was the ceremony itself, where I had the honor of officiating Ankur and Erika's union amidst the enchanting ambiance of the Sound and Light area.

The ceremony started when I asked Erika and Ankur if they have any vows for each other. Erika speaks and says her vows. Then Ankur did. Then I got very excited and asked Ankur’s brother, Neil, to hand them the rings and asked the bride: "Erika do you take this man to be your husband, to love him and be there for him from this day forward for the rest of your lives?" She said “I do” and gave Ankur the ring. Then I asked Ankur the same question, and he said “yes” and gave her the ring. Finally, I said in celebration "I now proclaim you husband and wife!! You may kiss the bride!!" Then we all celebrated and walked down the aisle together.

The celebrations culminated in a regal brunch on Gold Island, attended by esteemed guests like Rick Perry, Anita Perry, Greg Bates, Elise Bates, Kevin O’Leary, Robin Thicke and, of course, Ankur's parents.

Egypt has gained a lot of publicity from this wedding and the star-studded guest list of attendees. This shows how Egypt is safe and it’s the bestdestination for such a great event.

All of the guests expressed how much they love Ankur and Erika and how they already miss Egypt. The memories created during these celebrations are truly unforgettable, filled with joy and love for Ankur and Erika. Here's to a lifetime of happiness for the newlyweds!
