I have always chosen to stay at this hotel. It is wonderful, with great rooms, delicious food, and the best manager, Hisham Radwan.
I always recommend staying in this hotel to my friends, media companies, and everyone in between.

Announcement: New Edition of Mountains of the Pharaohs Now Available
I am thrilled to announce that the American University in Cairo (AUC) Press has republished my acclaimed book, Mountains of the Pharaohs: The Untold Story of the Pyramid Builders. This work is available in over 12 languages and provides a detailed narrative of Egypt’s Fourth Dynasty, backed by archaeological evidence. Mountains of the Pharaohs is the only book that delves deeply into the history of this dynasty, from King Sneferu to Shepseskaf. This period is often called Egypt's "Golden Age” and saw the movement of over 6 million stones to create the great pyramids.
For the first time, readers will discover the lives of the workmen who built the pyramids and the artists who contributed to their creation. This new edition is available in English.

Big Announcement
I'm thrilled to witness the soft opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, a project that began in 2002 with Farouk Hosni and myself. Although not a full grand opening due to the situation in the Middle East, visitors will be greeted by the iconic statue of Ramses II and other incredible artifacts, including statues of kings, queens, and officials, along the grand staircase. The museum currently showcases 13,400 pieces from ancient Egypt, spanning from 700,000 BC to 394 AD. Once peace returns to the region, the grand opening will unveil King Tutankhamun's treasures in a spectacular display. This museum is truly a landmark of global cultural significance!
